LGPD is the acronym for the General Data Protection Law in Brazil. Sanctioned in August 2018, the LGPD has important and mandatory guidelines for the collection, storage, and sharing of personal data, imposing fines and sanctions in the event of non-compliance with this law. It was inspired by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into force in 2018 in the European Union, bringing great impacts to companies and consumers
